The goal of the ICT Security Professional Development Day is to help provide attendees with the latest information on tools and products, best practices, and emerging issues in the privacy and security field. This one-day event will be of interest to information and communications technology (ICT) professionals and users with an interest in privacy and security related topics. The registration fee covers 3 major keynotes talks, 16 presentations in 4 parallel tracks, lunch, refreshment breaks and vendor displays. Topics to be addressed will include items such as:

One of the major goals and responsibilities of HTCIA members is help promote awareness around Internet safety for children and their families. The Public Forum on Internet Safety, presented in conjunction with ICT Security Professional Development Day. Note that there is no charge for this forum and no need to register. Members of the public including children are welcome Suitable for audiences 12 years of age and older.
Host: The HTCIA is an international not for profit organization that promotes information sharing between individuals in the ICT security field. Members of the Atlantic Canada HTCIA chapter include security and privacy professionals from industry, the public sector and law enforcement.
Location: The new Fredericton Convention Centre is located at 670 Queen Street, Fredericton, NB, next to the Playhouse and across the street from the Crowne Plaza Lord Beaverbrook Hotel.
